Construction Update – January 2016

Happy New Year!

We are thrilled to be back at the Nature’s Edge site and excited to see the development progress in 2016.

Before Christmas, our team of builders began work on the road network through The Rise and The Summit, which are our latest sections to open up.

We are happy to say, construction in the New Year has progressed so well that these roads have not been completed and potential occupants can explore the entire site, including our highest and most exclusive properties.

We are taking deposits for homes in The Summit and ask anyone interested in a rainforest view homes to give us a call, as these are our most popular and will sell out fast.

Roads & Rock Wall Complete At The Summit

Construction Update - January - Natures Edge BuderimAn incredible effort has been made to complete a 3-metre high rock feature wall, which has been constructed at the eastern end of the Nature’s Edge development.

Made from granite and sandstone rocks from a quarry in Four Mile, Queensland, this grouted wall is magnificent in both size and stature, framing the breathtaking rainforest above.

Although home construction work in The Summit is yet to begin, land has been pegged out and roads complete, ready for potential occupants to take a look.

Nature’s Edge Sales Manager Lyn Morrison says it is the view from The Summit that has many people excited, especially those from interstate who are not accustomed to the Sunshine Coast’s green breezy hinterland.

“With elevated blocks, you really do get the best view from The Summit, which overlooks the entire development, as well as the incredible forest surrounds,” Lyn says.

“Standing up at the very top, where the rock wall has just been completed, you could be fooled into thinking you were in the middle of the rainforest, not the Sunshine Coast only a few minutes rive to the Pacific Ocean!”

Nature’s Edge is welcoming deposits for the 23 homes available within The Summit, including the exclusive rainforest sites.

Construction Update - January - Natures Edge BuderimMajor Progress at The Rise

Incredible progress has been made in the two weeks since New Years, with frames going up and concrete slabs being poured throughout The Rise.

Eighteen homes are now under construction, with more than half of those ready for interior works to begin.

Lyn says 75% of homes at The Rise have already been sold, with more and more interested buyers booking to inspect the site.

“There is a lot of hype around The Rise opening, which is why our construction team has been working hard to complete work on time and stick to schedule,” she said.

“We are very impressed with the progress so far this year, the entire site is coming together thanks to the hard work of the team.”

The new display home will feature among the twelve houses nearing completion, and is due to open for inspection shortly.

Construction Update - January - Natures Edge BuderimThe Dawn and The Boulevard

If you were to take a walk down The Boulevard, you might find yourself in paradise — quiet, tranquil paradise.

Despite construction continuing at The Rise, just 100 metres up the road, it’s as quiet as can be at The Dawn, with occupants enjoying the laid-back lifestyle the Sunshine Coast is famous for.

All homes will be officially occupied in The Dawn this month, with two new owners moving in.

Down at The Boulevard, construction has almost been completed on three new homes, which have all been sold.

The majority of the three bedroom homes to be built along The Boulevard will feature a double lock-up garage, private courtyards and an idyllic layout to take full advantage of the northern sun and rainforest views.

All the action is behind the entrance amongst the rainforest and is not visible from Owen Creek Road.
