Construction Update – June 2015

Construction powers ahead as buyers embrace Nature’s Edge lifestyle

The recent spate of dry weather during May has enabled construction to forge ahead at Nature’s Edge master-planned gated community for the over 50’s in Forest Glen.

Nature’s Edge Sales Manager Lyn Morrison said the first homes under construction in the “The Dawn“ release are nearing completion and the excitement was growing with a number of new homebuyers preparing to move in during July.

“The good weather has enabled a host of tradespeople to power through the construction on the homes in the first stage release. It’s great to see so much activity onsite and it now paves the way for a new wave of residents to call Nature’s Edge home next month.

“The hive of activity has also seen enquiry significantly increase with all of the homes in the first release officially sold. Our existing homeowners love living at Nature’s Edge and have been very welcoming to all the new friends who have come to inspect the new community which is set amongst the rainforest with a plethora of flora and fauna, including some amazing birdlife,” she said.

Lyn encouraged buyers to call into the Nature’s Edge sales office for a personal tour of the community.

“It’s a bit deceiving from the entrance as you cannot see too much, but there’s so much to see once you enter the community and take in the natural environment.

“We are also within close proximity to local shops, medical and entertainment precincts as well as the region’s stunning beaches, our local airport and easy access to everything Brisbane has to offer. The nearby Kunara Marketplace which has an amazing selection of organic and whole foods and a stunning café as well as a butcher is also providing to be a great attraction as it is within easy walking distance while Buderim’s high quality shopping, medical, dining and entertainment offer are all just a short drive away,”

Lyn said Nature’s Edge policy of no stamp duty, no exit fees and no renters within the community is also proving to be a huge hit for buyers.

“Knowing that the resident next to you is an owner/occupier really resonates with our buyers as there is a commitment to maintain their property to the highest standard to ensure they get all the benefits of their capital gains should they wish to sell.

“We currently have a range of home designs to suit those wishing to downsize their home and maintenance so they can upsize their lifestyle. The fact that they can pack up and go without having to worry about someone mowing their lawn, collecting their mail, and the peace of mind that their home is in a secure environment gives them the freedom to enjoy the lifestyle that they have been working towards,” Lyn said.

All the homes are environmentally sustainable with 8 star energy ratings including solar panels on each home. The most popular designs features 2 bedrooms + multipurpose room, 2 bathrooms and a DLUG, and are priced from just $445,000 in the popular Boulevard release and average $469,000 on a rainforest site.
