Construction Update – December 2015

Getting into the Christmas Spirit!

The festive spirit is alive at Nature’s Edge this month as residents set up their Christmas trees, lights and decorations before joining together for champagne and carols.

More than 25 new occupants gathered for the development’s first (of many) Christmas gatherings, sharing stories about travel, adventures and their life-changing decisions to call Nature’s Edge home.

Sales Manager Lyn Morrison said the gathering earlier this month was an opportunity for the wonderful and diverse group of occupants now calling Nature’s home to meet — just in time for the festive season.

“There is a very jolly mood throughout The Dawn, which is almost completely occupied,” Lyn says.

“Christmas is going to be a wonderful time for all the occupants as they can utilise their beautiful new homes for family gatherings and barbecues, with that breathtaking forest in the background.”

We Have Reached The Summit!

Construction Update - December - Natures Edge BuderimThere has been a lot happening around the site the month, as new and past visitors to the development will see.

One of the more significant developments has been in the furthest corner of Nature’s Edge, where civil works has begun in the picturesque location now named The Summit.

Nature’s Edge Sales Manager Lyn Morrison said The Summit would feature 23 homes and a standout 3 metre-high rock feature wall!

“These elevated blocks would have to be the most private and picturesque in the entire Nature’s Edge development,” Lyn says.

“The rock feature wall is stunning and will add an element of sophistication not seen anywhere else on site. It creates a private barrier for residents and looks wonderful with the forest towering above.”

The three-metre high retaining wall features granite and sandstone rocks from a quarry in Four Mile, Queensland.

The Summit is due for official release in the New Year.

What’s Happening on The Rise?

Construction Update - December - Natures Edge BuderimJust below The Summit, The Rise features 18 eco-friendly architecturally designed homes with forest views.

Twelve houses are currently under construction in this elevated zone, with two others in their early stages of development.

Lyn says one of the homes in The Rise will be used as a display home in the New Year.

“The new display home will feature the design from our most popular layout, called the Burnett,” she says.

“It will feature two bedrooms with a multi purpose room and beautiful, tall glass windows throughout.

“The free flowing design is all about extra space and light and gives you a real sense of space and openness.”

The Burnett features large open-plan living, high-raked ceilings, multi-purpose room and plenty of storage.

Lyn says an impressive 75% of The Rise had been sold.

“Interest has been flowing in by the day as more and more people look interstate for somewhere to call home in their retirement,” she says.

“Nature’s Edge ticks all the boxes when it comes to comfortable living, lifestyle and location, which is why we have been encouraging those interested to get in quick.”

The Boulevard Is Almost Ready For Release

Construction Update - December - Natures Edge Buderim Three homes along The Boulevard are in their final stages of development, with flooring, painting and appliances to be completed.

Lyn says two of the homes will be available for owners to move in the early New Year.

“Our builders have been working around the clock to have these two homes finished and ready for residents to call home,” Lyn says.

Homes along The Boulevard are located on elevated, north-facing land with uninterrupted rainforest views and within easy walking distance to the planned $2 million Leisure Centre.

The majority of the three bedroom homes in this limited release will feature a double lock-up garage, private courtyards and an idyllic layout to take full advantage of the northern sun.

If you have been driving past Nature’s Edge and wondering, where are all the beautiful houses? It’s time you look past the tree line and book an appointment to view the site for yourself. This secluded village is not visible from the entry or sales office so if you wish to see what everyone is talking about make sure you call into the sales office and get a personalised tour.
