Civil design work has commenced on Stage Two of the master planned Nature’s Edge village at Forest Glen.
The 45 new home sites will be built on elevated north-facing land to the west of the already bustling Nature’s Edge village.
Engineers from Nature’s Edge chosen firm, Covey Associates Pty Ltd, are finalising the bulk layouts for sewage, storm water and road designs this week. Civil work is expected to begin at the end of the Month, once the final plans have been approved this week.
The decision to move ahead with Stage Two of the village came as a result of the unprecedented sales within The Summit — the most elevated location of Nature’s Edge.
“As Nature’s Edge continues to grow, we will stay true to our five-star design, ensuring every aspect of the village is built to the highest quality,” Nature’s Edge Sales Manager Lyn Morrison said. “Our residents are proud of their new homes and are enjoying the tranquillity of their rainforest surround and unique Sunshine Coast lifestyle, which can only be offered at Nature’s Edge.”
As part of the village’s five star standard, each home is fitted with an intercom system complete with touch screen internal communications from the village gate directly to the residents’ homes.
This new technology allows visual communication between residents, as well as from the gated entrance, providing the highest security assurance possible.
One resident, who has recently moved into The Dawn village at Nature’s Edge, said the technology was “a real winner”.
“We never expected this level of technology — it’s fantastic,” they said.
A camera will be installed at the front gate next month.
During the first week of March, Nature’s Edge will welcome the first proud new homeowners to The Boulevard. These three bedroom homes feature double lock-up garages, private courtyards and an idyllic layout to take full advantage of the northern sun and rainforest views.
We have also welcomed our last new homeowner to The Dawn — Nature’s Edge first official village site complete and thriving with new residents.
“Every home in The Dawn is now occupied and all our new residents have settled in to their relaxed Sunshine Coast lifestyle with ease,” Lyn said.
As Nature’s Edge continues to grow, several more homes are being built in The Rise and the first home is taking shape in The Summit.
Retaining walls are being completed this week and foundation work started in preparation for construction to begin on more home sites.
Almost 11 homes are complete in The Rise, as the building team adds the finishing touches to the exterior, assembles the kitchen cabinetry and completes tiling throughout.
“Our construction team has been working hard to see these homes built to the Nature’s Edge premium standard, ready for our new homeowners to move in,” Lyn said.
“Our new homeowners are so pleased with the rate of construction and are eager to join the Nature’s Edge lifestyle on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.”
