Construction Update – September 2015
September 14, 2015
It’s Begun At The Boulevard
Construction on the first three homes along the long-awaited Boulevard is well underway at Nature’s Edge, with concrete slabs laid and steel frames now taking shape.
The elevated north facing new homes will be one of the first visitors to the site will see as the sites have been ideally placed close to the gated entrance and within easy walking distance to the planned $2 million Leisure Centre.
Nature’s Edge Sale Manager Lyn Morrison says construction on The Boulevard has been full steam ahead since the start on September.
“There is a lot going on at the moment and everyday we are seeing some incredible progress with this stage of the development,” Lyn says.
“Builders have been working hard to get the first three houses going, as one will be used as a display home for visitors to the site.”
Most of the 13 three bedroom homes will feature a double lock-up garage, private courtyards and an idyllic layout to take full advantage of the northern sun.
Final Plans For The Leisure Centre Underway
Meetings are being held in the coming months to finalise plans for the $2 million Leisure Centre, which will become the heart of the Nature’s Edge community.
Construction on the amazing state-of-the-art facility is planned to begin early next year, following the completion of the new release in Stage 1.
Lyn says the Lifestyle Centre is a huge drawcard for buyers and will become the hub of activity at Nature’s Edge.
“We’re finding that most of our buyers really embrace an active lifestyle so we know it’s going to be hugely popular — and why wouldn’t you spend your time being active and doing the things you love as opposed to doing maintenance and mowing lawns!”
The Leisure Centre will feature a bowling green, tennis court, pool, spa, gym, massage area and a media room. There will also be a leisure club with bar, dance floor, dining and entertainment area.
Getting Moving On The New Release in Stage 1
Although yet to be named, there are many words to describe the new release in Stage 1 — and breathtaking is certainly one of them.
Surrounded by untouched rainforest and a magnificent 3-metre-plus high rock feature wall, this newest release of the Nature’s Edge development has all the makings of “the dream home” and some.
These 45 elevated blocks of which 20 already have deposits on are the most in demand sites available at Natures Edge, these sites will never be repeated. Individually sized, some have larger backyards with your very own piece of rainforest providing privacy and views and room enough for the vegie garden.
Pipes for water and sewage have been laid and ground work completed, with construction on the first five homes scheduled to begin in October.
Don’t forget to enter our competition to name this stage to win a dinner for two at the famed Jampa’s Spirit of Tibet restaurant in Forest Glen, valued at $100!
Once named, the release will become the third to feature at Nature’s Edge, alongside The Dawn and The Boulevard.
Dawn Release Almost Complete
Builders are applying the finishing touches to the last homes in the Dawn Release, with eight residents already settled into their new homes and enjoying the laidback lifestyle on offer at Nature’s Edge.
Lyn says many of the new residents have been busy getting to know each other and have already started planning social events.
“Everyone has settled in perfectly and are now enjoying their beautiful new homes,” she says. “I have been able to catch up with each new residents as they pass the gate and it’s clear how happy they are and even making plans for social groups.”
Landscapers are continuing to add the perfect touch of greenery to each home, even designing personalised vegetable plant boxes for each resident when requested.
Lyn says one of the best features of living at Nature’s Edge is the backyards, which can be designed and tailored to each owner’s individual needs.
“Some of our residents enjoy gardening and so have requested large vegetable plant boxes, while other wanted smaller ones for herbs and tomatoes,” Lyn says.
“We have also tailored for those who didn’t want grass and would prefer a larger patio area for entertaining.”
All the homes are environmentally sustainable with 8 star energy ratings including solar panels on each home. The most popular designs features 2 bedrooms + multipurpose room, 2 bathrooms and a DLUG, and are priced from just $445,000 in the popular Boulevard release and average $469,000 on a rainforest site.
