Happy campers at Nature’s Edge Buderim
February 25, 2020
Recent retirees, Clive and Gail Mann have always enjoyed the caravanning lifestyle. So, when the time came to downsize from their large family home to enjoy a more relaxed, maintenance-free lifestyle, accommodation for their RV was top of their list.
“Going into a new estate with smaller homes, young families, lots of school traffic and renters didn’t really appeal to us. We were looking for a quieter place to live,” says Gail.
Having visited friends at Nature’s Edge Buderim over 50’s lifestyle community, the couple were impressed with the lush riparian rainforest setting, elevated site and convenient location within walking distance of an emerging town centre.
However, most important for Gail and Clive was the option of buying a property with a garage suitable for their RV and their beloved 1964 Austin Healy Sprite, which they have lovingly restored to its former glory.
“We also really liked the concept of over 50’s living,” adds Gail. “It’s gated, it feels safe and there is a real community feel here.”
The lively social calendar at Nature’s Edge Buderim and the friendly environment also gets the big tick of approval from the fun-loving couple.
“It’s a real bonus. We only moved here in October and already we have met lots of nice people,” says Clive.
The couple has already planned their next big trip and are looking forward to enjoying the freedom that comes with the lock-up and leave lifestyle at Nature’s Edge Buderim.
“Last time we went away, we had to organise someone to come and clean the pool and someone to mow the lawns. Now that we’re at Nature’s Edge, we can just lock-up and go,” says Gail.
“Even better, the neighbours asked if they could water our lawns while we were away prior to us even moving in,” adds Clive. “Everyone is willing to help, it’s great.”
Sounds like some very happy campers indeed!
