Nature’s Edge – A modern, astute way of living

One leisurely drive into Nature’s Edge at Buderim and you’re sure to notice the majestic rainforest framing modern contemporary homes, prestigious sandstone retaining walls built by master craftsmen, and neat modern gardens. But talk to the residents of this new over-50s community, and you’ll soon learn it also brings with it a very satisfying community lifestyle.

Natures Edge BuderimPeter and Elaine Reardon have lived in their spacious Nature’s Edge home, complete with its high ceilings and modern appliances, for almost a year, and the only words they can find to describe their response is they “love it”.

Nature’s Edge homes are mostly two-bedroom with a multi-purpose room that offers great flexibility for a media room, craft room, office or personal library. All houses include as standard stone bench-tops throughout all kitchen, bathrooms and laundries. Standard home inclusions also include Solar Panels, Air Conditioning, full height tiles in bathrooms and ensuites. The intercoms provide security access to the front gates plus free calling and messaging to other home owners and the office.

Buying a home here also brings with it financial peace of mind: residents actually own their own homes, there are no exit fees and they don’t lose capital gains when they sell.

Home Owners free up their lifestyle and enjoy travel.

With all that in mind, the Reardons can’t decide exactly what feature they enjoy most about Nature’s Edge. Elaine simply responds: “Everything”.  “The people, the ambiance, the trees, and we love the Sunshine Coast,” she explains. “The houses are lovely, they’re very well built.”

There is a choice of many different home designs, all clad in thermally efficient Hebel with certified 8 star energy-efficiency, and non-potable water is supplied free for irrigation or gardens.

Nature’s Edge residents will also soon enjoy the benefits of a 5 star $2.5m recreation centre, which is currently under construction. This state of the art building will feature a 20-metre heated pool, gymnasium, 30 seat cinema, dance floor, bowling green, arts and crafts studio, function rooms and more.

The community also includes a hard stand for storage of caravans and boats plus our popular community bus.

Nature’s Edge will eventually consist of 190 eco-friendly architect designed homes, is located close to the Forest Glen shopping precinct, great coffee shops, and the region’s biggest organic supermarket.

It has a fabulous community spirit, an exciting social calendar, all adding up to a carefree lifestyle in a secure gated community.
