Octoberfest at Nature’s Edge
October 10, 2016
Another hugely successful Open Day was held on the 8th October at Natures Edge Buderim. Nearly 200 people, mostly first time visitors to the over 50’s lifestyle community were entertained while enjoying a tour of the ‘village’.
The theme was Oktoberfest and guests were greeted with champagne on arrival before being whisked off in the Natures Edge bus for a tour of the display homes. Once up in the rainforest, they were treated to refreshments including German beer, sausages, cappuccino and ice creams and entertainment from Brisbane based musician Livio who donned his Lederhosen and piano accordion’.
Five display homes were open for inspection including the popular Burnett – a light airy and spacious master built home featuring 2 bedrooms plus multipurpose room and lock up garage. Standard home inclusions include Solar Panels, Air Conditioning, full height tiles in bathrooms and ensuite. All homes are clad in thermally efficient Hebel with certified 8 star energy-efficiency, and non-potable water is supplied free for use in gardens and lawns.
Three brand new architect designed plans were launched for Open Day – the ‘Cosby’,’ Mons’ and the ‘Petrie’ and will available for purchase in Stage Two which is now selling. Stage 2 also sees the launch of the first RV homes for the caravan enthusiast who wishes to park his caravan within his own garage.
The highlight and biggest surprise to most guests was the peace and serenity of the rainforest which surrounds the village. To be so close to all facilities, but feel you are so far removed from the hustle and bustle of busy suburbia, makes Natures Edge Buderim one of a kind – leave your worries outside the security gates and come on in.
